Famous poet Rahat Indori died on this day on 11 August 2020 due to a heart attack. On the morning of Tuesday, he had informed by tweeting that his report has come corona positive. Rahat Indori was known all over the world for his impeccable style and excellent poetry. He was an example not only for India but for the whole world. Rahat Indori's death will prove to be a never-healing wound for the strange world. So let's take a look at some important aspects of his life on his youth.
Rahat Indori was born on Yaumeh (1 January 1950-11 August 2020). His childhood name was Kamil, which later became Rahatullah Qureshi but got recognition in the world in the name of Dr. Rahat Indori. His father's name was Raftullah Qureshi who worked in a textile mill and his mother's name was Maqbool-un-Nissa Begum. Rahat Indori was the fourth child of his parents. He was educated at Nutan School, Indore. He completed his graduation from Islamia Karimia College Indore in 1973 and MA in Urdu Literature from Barkatullah University Bhopal in 1975. After that, in 1985, he obtained a PhD degree in Urdu Literature from Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University in Madhya Pradesh.
Rahat Indori started teaching Urdu Literature in the early stages at Indrakumar College, Indore. Then in the middle, he became engrossed in the Mushairas and started receiving feasts from the innocent country including the whole of India. He had unmatched ability, hard work and magic of words. Due to which he was accepted very quickly and very well among the people. He became so convinced that he has also written songs for many films.
Rahat Indori called both politics and love with equal rights and lions with Ravani. Rahat Mushairas are known for uttering the lions of Gham-e-Jana (for the girlfriend) in a special way. But his work on Mutale in Urdu is a legacy for Urdu adab.
In the beginning, Indori used to be a painter. He used to make sign boards in the Malwa Mill area and write some things and tell them to friends. For the first time he read Mushaira in Ranipura. In the Bazm-e-Adab library located here, the gathering of Mushaira would often decorate, relief also reached. He used to sit on one side while listening and singing. One day a poet present there caught sight of him.
Rahatullah Qureshi was called on the stage and said that today you have to read Mushaira, what was it then that he narrated those lions that people were convinced of him. Growing up from Ranipura-Malwa Mill, the whole city, country, world joined his fans. In the beginning, he used to sit at a shop in Ranipura, only then he became convinced.

मशहूर शायर राहत इंदौरी का आज ही के दिन 11 अगस्त 2020 को दिल का दौरा पड़ने से इंतेकाल हो गया था. दिन मंगल की सुबह उन्होंने ट्वीट करके जानकारी दी थी कि उनकी रिपोर्ट कोरना पॉज़िटिव आई है. राहत इंदौरी अपने बेबाक अदांज़ और बेहतरीन शायरी के लिए पूरी दुनिया जाने जाते थे. वो हिंदुस्तान ही नहीं बल्कि पूरी अदबी दुनिया के लिए एक मिसाल थे. राहत इंदौरी की मौत अदबी दुनिया के लिए कभी न भरने वाला ज़ख्म साबित होगा. तो आइए उनके यौमे वफात पर उनकी ज़िंदगी के कुछ अहम पहलुओं पर नज़र डालते हैं.
राहत इंदौरी की यौमे पैदाईश (1 जनवरी 1950-11 अगस्त 2020) को हुई थी. उनका बचपन का नाम कामिल था जो बाद में राहतउल्ला कुरैशी हुआ लेकिन दुनिया में पहचान डॉ. राहत इंदौरी के नाम मिली. उनके वालिद का नाम रफ्तुल्लाह कुरैशी था जो एक कपड़ा मिल में काम करते थे और उनकी मां का नाम मकबूल-उन-निसा बेगम था. राहत इंदौरी अपने मां-बाप की चौथी औलाद थे. उनकी इब्तेदाई तालीम नूतन स्कूल इंदौर में हुई था. उन्होंने इस्लामिया करीमिया कॉलेज इंदौर से 1973 में अपनी ग्रेजुएट की पढ़ाई मुकम्मल की और 1975 में बरकतउल्लाह यूनिवर्सिटी भोपाल से उर्दू लिट्रेचर में एमए किया. उसके बाद 1985 में मध्य प्रदेश की मध्य प्रदेश भोज मुक्त यूनिवर्सिटी से उर्दू लिट्रेचर में पीएचडी की डिग्री हासिल की थी.
राहत इंदौरी ने शुरुआती दौर में इंद्रकुमार कॉलेज, इंदौर में उर्दू लिट्रेचर पढ़ाना शुरू किया. फिर बीच में वो मुशायरों में मसरूफ हो गए और पूरे हिंदुस्तान समेत बौरूने मुल्क से दावत मिलनी शुरू हो गई. उनके पास बेमिसाल काबिलियत, सख्त लगन और लफ्ज़ों की जादूगरी थी. जिसकी बदौलत वे बहुत जल्दी व बहुत अच्छी तरह से अवाम के दरमियान मकबूल हो गए. वो इतने मकबूल हो गए कि उन्होंने कई फिल्मों के लिए गीत भी लिखे हैं.
राहत इंदौरी ने सियासत और मोहब्बत दोनों पर बराबर हक और रवानी के साथ शेर कहे. राहत मुशायरों में एक खास अंदाज़ में ग़म-ए-जाना (प्रेमिका के लिए) के शेर कहने के लिए जाने जाते हैं. मगर उनका उर्दू में मुताले पर किया गया काम उर्दू अदब के लिए विरासत है.
शुरुआत में इंदौरी पेंटर हुआ करते थे. मालवा मिल इलाके में साइन बोर्ड बनाया करते और कुछ-कुछ लिख कर यार-दोस्तों में सुनाते रहते. पहली बार उन्होंने रानीपुरा में मुशायरा पढ़ा था. यहां स्थित बज्म-ए-अदब लाइब्रेरी में अक्सर मुशायरे की महफिल सजा करती, राहत भी पहुंच जाते थे. एक तरफ बैठ सुनते-गुनते रहते थे. एक दिन वहां मौजूद एक शायर की नजर उन पर पड़ गई.
राहतउल्ला कुरैशी को मंच पर बुला लिया और कहा कि आज तुम्हें मुशायरा पढ़ना है, बस फिर क्या था उन्होंने वो शेर सुनाए कि लोग उनके कायल हो गए. रानीपुरा-मालवा मिल से बढ़ते-बढ़ते पूरा शहर, देश, दुनिया उनके चाहनेवालों में शामिल हो गया. शुरुआत में वे रानीपुरा में एक दुकान पर बैठा करते थे, तब ही मकबूल हो गए थे
